Beam Trolleys

Hercules Mechanical Works manufactures Elephant brand I-beam travelling trolleys for industrial material handling and lifting applications since 1960. The Elephant Brand Beam Travelling Trolley, is India's trusted solution for horizontal load movement along I-beams and H-beams.

Beam Travelling Trolleys allow horizontal traverse of equipment along an "I" beam, most commonly used in combination with a Chain Hoist there are many different types of Beam Trolley with variable capacities to suit a huge variety of flange widths.

The most universal design of beam trolley features two identical side plates that hold two wheels each that enable the traverse while being secured together on the beam by a threaded suspension point from which the hoist or equipment is suspended from in the middle.

• MOUNTING:
• There should be a clearance of about 2 mm Between wheel flange & Beam flange on both sides.
• P Guide Roller should be properly adjusted so that plain wheel flange should not mount the beam flange.
• OPERATION:
• Operator should stand in direction towards should trolley is to be moved whenever possible.
